(A) The animal control officer shall, at least weekly, transfer to the City Clerk all the proceeds from the redemption of any dog, cat, reptile, fowl, or other animal together with all fees and charges collected and the same shall be placed in the General Fund of the city, except as hereinafter provided.
(B) There is hereby created an Animal Control Account, a special account into which all adoption fees and microchipping fees shall be deposited from which expenditures may be used for the operation of the City Pound and the services provided.
(C) Receipt of amount, deposited in the General Fund or the Animal Control Account, shall be issued to the redeemer of animals from impoundment.
