§ 95.001 KEEPING ANIMALS; REQUIRED AREA.
   All animals commonly referred to as “domesticated farm animals,” including horses, cow, mules, asses and other similar animals shall not be kept and maintained on any parcel of land of less than one acre. The tract where the animals are kept shall be fenced so as to prevent damage by the animals to personal property on adjacent tracts of land. No more than two domesticated farm animals shall be kept per acre of land, except that on any tract of land zoned A-1, agricultural-use district, a maximum of five domesticated farm animals may be kept per acre of land, provided, the premises are maintained in strict compliance with § 95.003 and provided the fence enclosing the tract is capable of preventing the escape of the animals and is maintained at all times.
