(A) The city is hereby divided into four wards to be known as Ward One, Ward Two, Ward Three and Ward Four.
(B) The boundaries of these wards being more particularly described as follows:
(1) Ward One.
(a) Beginning on the centerline of the intersection of North Mueller Avenue and Northwest 36th Street; thence east on the centerline of said 36th Street to the east city boundary; thence south on the east city boundary of the City of Bethany to the centerline of the intersection of North Peniel Avenue and Northwest 16th Street; thence west on the south city boundary to the centerline of the intersection of North Glade Avenue and Northwest 16th Street; thence north along the west city boundary to the centerline of the intersection of North Glade Avenue and Northwest 21st Street; thence east on centerline of Northwest 21st Street to the centerline of the intersection of North Alexander Lane and Northwest 21st Street; thence north on the centerline of North Alexander Lane to the centerline of the intersection of Northwest 23rd Street and North Alexander Lane; thence east on the centerline of Northwest 23rd Street to the centerline of the intersection of North Mueller Avenue and Northwest 23rd Street; thence north on the centerline of North Mueller Avenue to the centerline of the intersection of Northwest 36th Street and North Mueller Avenue, the point of beginning.
(b) Ward I is and includes all of that land presently within the City of Bethany east of North Mueller Avenue and south of Northwest 36th Street, and all of the land south of Northwest 23rd Street and east of North Alexander, and all of the land south of Northwest 21st Street and east of North Glade Avenue, or which might later be added in this area to the city limits of the city.
(2) Ward Two.
(a) Beginning on the centerline of the intersection of North Rockwell Avenue and Northwest 36th Street; thence north on the centerline of North Rockwell Avenue to the north city boundary; thence east along the north city boundary to the northeast corner of the Bethany Cemetery; thence south on the east boundary of the City of Bethany to the centerline of the intersection of North Hammond Avenue and Northwest 36th Street; thence west on the centerline of Northwest 36th Street to the centerline of the intersection of North Rockwell Avenue and Northwest 36th Street, the point of beginning.
(b) Ward II is and includes all of that land presently within the City of Bethany east of North Rockwell Avenue and north of Northwest 36th Street, or which may later be added in this area to the city limits of the city.
(3) Ward Three.
(a) Beginning on the centerline of the intersection of Northwest 50th Street and North Rockwell Avenue; thence south on the centerline of North Rockwell Avenue to the centerline of the intersection of Northwest 36th Street and North Rockwell Avenue; thence west on the centerline of Northwest 36th Street to the centerline of the intersection of North Wilburn Avenue and Northwest 36th Street; thence south on the centerline of North Wilburn Avenue to the centerline of the intersection of Northwest 30th Street and North Wilburn Avenue; thence west on the centerline of Northwest 30th Street to the centerline of the intersection of North Council Road and Northwest 30th Street; thence south on the centerline of North Council Road, to a point where the city boundary on the west side of North Council Road intersects North Council Road; thence west on said city boundary and south to the centerline of Northwest 23rd Street; thence west on the centerline of Northwest 23rd Street to the west city boundary; thence north on the west city boundary of the City of Bethany to the centerline of Northwest 50th Street; thence east on the centerline of Northwest 50th Street to the centerline of the intersection of Northwest 50th Street and North Rockwell Avenue, the point of beginning.
(b) Ward III is and includes all of that land presently within the City of Bethany west of North Rockwell Avenue between Northwest 50th Street and Northwest 36th Street, west of North Wilburn Avenue between Northwest 36th Street and Northwest 30th Street, west of North Council Road between Northwest 30th Street and Northwest 23rd Street, or which might be added to the city limits of the city.
(4) Ward Four.
(a) Beginning on the centerline of the intersection of Northwest 36th Street and North Mueller Avenue; thence south on the centerline of North Mueller Avenue to the centerline of Northwest 23rd Street; thence west on the centerline of Northwest 23rd Street to the centerline of North Alexander Lane; thence south on the centerline of North Alexander Lane to the centerline of the intersection of Northwest 21st Street and North Alexander Lane; thence west on the centerline of Northwest 21st Street to the centerline of the intersection of North Glade Avenue and Northwest 21st Street; thence south on the centerline of North Glade Avenue to the centerline of Northwest 19th Street; thence west on the centerline of Northwest 19th Street to the centerline of North Council Road; thence north on the centerline of North Council Road to the centerline of the intersection of Northwest 30th Street and North Council Road; thence east on the centerline of Northwest 30th Street to the centerline of the intersection of North Wilburn Avenue and Northwest 30th Street; thence north on the centerline of North Wilburn Avenue to the centerline of the intersection of Northwest 36th Street and North Wilburn Avenue; thence east on the centerline of Northwest 36th Street the centerline of the intersection of North Mueller Avenue and Northwest 36th Street, the point of beginning.
(b) Ward IV is and includes all of the land presently within the city of Bethany south of Northwest 36th Street between North Mueller Avenue and North Wilburn Avenue to Northwest 23rd Street on the south, and all of the land south of Northwest 30th Street between North Council Road and North Mueller Avenue to Northwest 23rd Street on the south, and all of the land south of Northwest 23rd Street between North Alexander Lane and North Council Road to Northwest 21st Street on the south, and all land south of Northwest 21st Street between North Council Road and North Glade Avenue the city boundary, or which might later be added in this area to the city limits of the city.
