§ 90.07 FIRE LANES DEVOTED TO PUBLIC USE.
   (A)   The marking of fire lanes on private property, devoted to public use, shall be approved by the Fire Chief and the Chief of Police of the city.
   (B)   Fire lanes and driveways shall be located so that all buildings served by them are accessible to fire equipment.
   (C)   (1)   The contractor or person in charge of any construction site for commercial, industrial, mercantile, educational, institutional, assembly, hotel, motel, multi-family dwelling or mobile home park occupancies shall provide and maintain an approved hard surfaced, all-weather access fire lane, not less than 20 feet in width, as shown on approved site plans.
      (2)   The access lane shall be complete at the time that construction has progressed to completion of the first foundation.
   (D)   Fire lanes required by division (A) above shall not be required for sites whose structures total less than 2,000 square feet unless constituting or declared a high hazard occupancy by the Fire Chief of the city.
