§ 125.05 EXEMPTIONS.
   The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to the following while they are engaged in personal performance of the duties of their respective professions:
   (A)   Persons licensed by the State of Oklahoma to practice medicine, surgery, osteopathy, chiropractic, physical therapy, occupational therapy, podiatry, and nursing, and persons working solely for and under the direction of those individuals;
   (B)   Athletic trainers licensed with the State of Oklahoma when working with an amateur, semiprofessional or professional athlete or athletic team;
   (C)   Barbers and beauticians who are duly licensed with the State of Oklahoma, except that this exemption shall apply solely to the massaging of the neck, face, scalp, and hair; or manicurists or pedicurists and shall apply solely to the massaging of the hands or feet of the customer or client for cosmetic or beautifying purposes;
   (D)   Students practicing internships at a state licensed massage school under the direct supervision of a qualified instructor; and
   (E)   Healthcare facilities.
