(A) The applicant shall have a licensed plumbing contractor make the installation and set the water meter. Water meters shall be purchased from the city in all cases.
(B) The purchase price for water meters of all sizes shall be established from time to time at actual costs by the City Manager and a schedule of the charges shall be filed with the City Clerk.
(C) Service installations, including any boring or the removal and replacement of pavement, shall be performed in accordance with the standards and specifications approved by the City Council for the work and on file with the City Clerk.
(D) Nothing contained in this section shall be construed to exempt a plumbing contractor performing service installations from the permit, license or inspection requirements herein.
