(A) In addition to other fines, penalties, or fees, costs of the Municipal Court shall be the total of $30, plus the fees and mileage of jurors and witnesses.
(B) For every judgment of conviction, including pleas of guilty or nolo contendere, and deferred or suspended sentences, where the offense is punishable by a fine of $10 or more and is not a parking or standing violation, and regardless of where the fine is actually imposed, the Court Clerk shall assess and collect a fee of $10 for the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training, a fingerprinting fee of $10, a $5 fee for the Bureau of Narcotics Drug Education Revolving Fund for those entering a plea of guilty or nolo contendere or found guilty of the crimes of possession of marijuana or possession of paraphernalia, and a $10 Forensic Science Improvement Assessment. Fees collected pursuant to this section and § 33.041, in the case of bond forfeitures, shall be deposited into an account created for the specified purposes. The City Clerk shall remit funds in the account, less the authorized retainage and less all interest accruing to the account as provided by law.
(C) In addition to other fines, penalties, fees or costs, the Court Clerk shall assess a $35 fee for the initial filing of a bond, cash or surety, on each offense. The Court Clerk shall remit on a monthly basis $25 of every $35 fee to the city Jail Operation Fund.
(D) In addition to other fines, penalties, fees or costs, the Court Clerk shall assess a $20 technology fee on each offense. The purpose of the fee is to partially offset the cost of acquisition, operation, maintenance, repair and replacement of computers, software, and other technology necessary for operation of Municipal Court and the Bethany Police Department. Fees collected pursuant to this section shall be deposited equally into separate accounts for the Police Technology Fund and The Courts Technology Fund created for the specific purpose set herein.
