SECTION 6-10. COUNCIL MAY ESTABLISH ELECTION DATES AND FILING PERIODS UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES.
   In the event the State law prohibits elections to be conducted by the Oklahoma County Election Board on the dates established in this Charter or if State law alters the required filing periods then the City Council may by ordinance establish the dates for Primary and General Elections and/or filing periods on such dates as may be permitted by State law.
