A fee of $150 is hereby imposed as a method to recover the cost to the city of processing an application for expungement of criminal records maintained by the Municipal Court or Police Department. The fee shall be paid by the applicant or his or her representative at the time the court order for expungement of records is presented to the city for processing. The fee shall be deposited into the General Fund of the city.
