It is hereby declared to be the policy and purpose of the city to participate in the benefits of the system of Old Age, Survivors', and Disability Insurance (OASDI), being 42 USC 401 et seq., as authorized by the Federal Social Security Act and all amendments thereto, and 51 O.S. §§ 121 et seq. In pursuance of this policy, the officers and employees of the city shall take the action as may be required by applicable state or federal laws or regulations.
