The department heads, in addition to their other duties, shall maintain complete and accurate records of all employees of the city under their supervision relating to attendance to work or absence, showing the cause therefor. The department heads shall timely report these records to the City Manager on forms designated by the City Manager and shall certify to the correctness thereof. Department heads shall perform other duties in relation to employment records as may be designated or delegated by the City Manager from time to time.
