(A) A monthly utility service charge of $3 per month for each utility unit within the corporate limits of the City of Bethany is hereby imposed, payable in advance, commencing September 1, 2019. This fee may be amended in amount by resolution adopted by the City Council of the City of Bethany. The fee shall be charged on the same classification of accounts as water and sewer services, i.e., multiple-family dwelling units shall pay based on the number of units multiplied by the storm water utility fee.
(B) The monthly service charge for storm sewers shall be billed by the City of Bethany, Oklahoma. Payments received on utility bills shall be applied in the following priority:
(1) First, to storm sewer fee;
(2) Second, to sanitation service;
(3) Third, to sanitary sewer service; and
(4) Finally, to water service.
(C) Failure to pay may result in discontinuation of service of utilities in accordance with the current policies of the City of Bethany.
