§ 35.06 RECORD REQUIRED.
   The Chief of Police shall maintain a complete record of all property received pursuant to § 35.05, showing the date it was received, a description of the article and the source from which it was received. When any person shall, to the satisfaction of the Chief of Police, present proof of ownership thereof, the Chief of Police shall return the article to the owner, taking a receipt therefor, and shall enter into the record the name of the person to whom it was delivered and the date of the delivery.
