§ 33.070 FAILURE OF PARENT, GUARDIAN AND THE LIKE TO APPEAR.
   It shall be an offense for the parent or legal custodian or legal guardian of a child to fail to return a child to Municipal Court to answer the municipal charges on the date and time set by the Municipal Court where the parent, legal custodian or legal guardian executes a written promise to return the child to Municipal Court. It shall be a defense to a prosecution under this section where the parent, legal custodian or guardian appears at the appointed Court date and provides evidence that he or she made a good faith effort to secure the juvenile's appearance.
