§ 1490.08 STRUCTURAL ALTERATIONS TO ELIMINATE RAT HARBORAGE.
Whenever the conditions inside or under a building provide such extensive harborage for rats that the President of the Board of Health deems it necessary to eliminate the harborage, he or she may require the owner to install suitable cement floors in basements, to replace wooden first or ground floors or to correct other conditions related to rat harborage as may be necessary in order to facilitate the eradication of rats in a reasonable time and thereby reduce the cost thereof.
