The following guidelines shall be followed in substance by the Director of Buildings and the Building Inspector in ordering the repair, vacation or demolition of a dangerous building.
(A) If the building can reasonably be repaired so that it will no longer exist in violation of this chapter, it shall be repaired.
(B) If the building is in a condition as to make it dangerous to the health, morals, safety or the general welfare of its occupants, it shall be vacated.
(C) If the building is 50% damaged, decayed or deteriorated from its original value or structure, it shall be demolished.
(D) If the building cannot be repaired so that it will no longer exist in violation of this chapter, it shall be demolished.
(E) If the building is a fire hazard existing or erected in violation of this chapter or any other ordinance of the city or statute of the state, it shall be demolished.
