§ 1462.01 DEFINED.
   As used in this chapter, DANGEROUS BUILDING means a building or structure:
   (A)   Whose interior walls or other vertical structural members list, lean or buckle to an extent that a plumb line passing through the center of gravity falls outside the middle third of its base;
   (B)   Which, exclusive of the foundation, shows 33% or more damage or deterioration of the supporting member or members or 50% damage or deterioration of the nonsupporting, enclosing or outside walls or covering;
   (C)   Which has an improperly distributed load on the floor or roof or in which the floor or roof is overloaded or has insufficient strength to be reasonably safe for the purpose used;
   (D)   Which has been so damaged by fire, wind or other causes that it is dangerous to the health, morals, safety or general welfare of the people of the city;
   (E)   Which is dilapidated, decayed, unsafe or unsanitary, or which so utterly fails to provide the amenities essential to decent living that it is unfit for human habitation, or is likely to cause sickness or disease, so as to injure the health, morals, safety or general welfare of those living therein or in the city;
   (F)   Which has light, air and sanitation facilities which are inadequate to protect the health, morals, safety or general welfare of persons who live or may live therein;
   (G)   Which has inadequate facilities for egress in case of fire or panic, or which has insufficient stairways, elevators, fire escapes or means of communication;
   (H)   Which has parts thereof which are so attached that they may fall and injure persons or property; or
   (I)   Which exists in violation of any provision of the Fire Prevention Code (Part Sixteen of these Codified Ordinances) or any other ordinance of the city.
