§ 1043.04 RIGHT OF ENTRY; DUTY TO FURNISH INFORMATION.
   The approved Cross-Connection Control Device Inspector shall inspect all connections to the public water supply or distribution system of the city for the purpose of verifying the presence or absence of cross-connections. The Superintendent of Water or his or her authorized agent shall inspect all connections to the public water supply or distribution system of the city for the purpose of verifying information submitted by the customer regarding the required cross-connection control inspection. If any person who is authorized by this section to inspect licensees and business is denied access to any premises receiving water from the city, the city may apply to a judge in the Circuit Court of the county for an administrative search warrant. The application for the warrant shall specify the basis upon which the warrant is being sought and shall include a statement that the inspection will be limited to a determination whether the premises is in compliance with all city ordinances and, where applicable, state and federal laws and regulations. On demand, the owner or lessee of any property so served shall furnish to the Superintendent of Water any information which the Superintendent may request regarding the piping system or systems or water use on the property. The refusal of this information, when demanded, shall be deemed evidence of the presence of improper connections as provided in this chapter.
