(A) No person shall engage in the business or occupation of pruning, treating or removing street trees or park trees in the city without first applying for and procuring a license therefor.
(B) The license fee shall be paid annually in advance to the City Collector. No license shall be required of public service companies or city employees doing the work in the pursuit of their public service endeavors. Before any license is issued, each applicant shall first file evidence of possession of liability insurance in the minimum amounts prescribed by the city for bodily injury and for property damage indemnifying the city or any person from injury or damage resulting from the pursuit of the endeavors as described in this section.
