§ 1028.15 ATTACHMENT OF, AND DAMAGE FROM, ELECTRICAL WIRING.
   (A)   No person shall, without a written permit therefor from the Department of Public Works, attach any electrical wiring, insulator or device for holding electrical wiring, to a tree growing in a street or public highway in the city.
   (B)   (1)   Whenever practical, no person shall fail to securely fasten electrical wiring so that the wiring does not come in contact with a tree in a street or alley in the city.
      (2)   No person shall string electrical wiring in a manner as to damage or injure a tree standing in a street, park or alley of the city, by abrasion caused by contact of the wiring with the tree, by burning the branches or trunk thereof by electric current conducted by the wiring or by cutting or climbing into or upon the tree in the process of stringing or repairing the wiring.
