(A) Whenever it is necessary to remove a street curb for driveways or other reasons, the contractor or person intending to do the work must obtain a permit to do so. A request for a permit must imply that the contractor or person is aware of the necessity to remove the gutter as well as the curb. All work must conform to the requirements of and inspection by the Director of Public Works. The fee for the permit is as set forth in § 1444.01(B)(45).
(B) As set forth in § 1248.10(A) of the Planning and Zoning Code of the city, no parking is allowed in side or front yards, thus all driveways shall go to the rear yard for parking.
