For the purpose of this chapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
LABORATORY. Any building, place or establishment maintained or operated for the purpose of making medical, bacteriological, pathological, physiological, serological, chemical, industrial, agricultural, physical, dental, optical, veterinary, pharmaceutical, engineering, electrical, X-ray or other scientific examinations, analyses, determinations or experiments.
