(A) Defined. For the purpose of this section, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
EXCAVATOR. A person who excavates, removes or carries away dirt, rock, cinders, building material, sand debris or other substances or material in order to construct the foundation of a house, residence, store or other public or private building or structure requiring a foundation to be constructed below the level of the street, or any sewer, vault or other like work requiring the removal of substances.
(B) License required. No person shall conduct the business of excavating without first obtaining a license therefor.
