(A) The organization or company benefitting from a automated rental machine will be held primarily responsible for the maintenance, upkeep and servicing of an automated rental machine. However, in the event the organization fails to adequately maintain and service an automated rental machine, the business owner or host site on whose property an automated rental machine is placed shall also be responsible.
(B) Failure to properly maintain, keep up or service an automated rental machine shall result in a fine pursuant to the penalty provision contained in this chapter.
