A grace period of 30 days shall begin on January 1 of each year for the renewal of business regulation certificates. If a commercial or industrial establishment fails to renew its business certificate by the end of the grace period (January 31), an additional fee equal to 10% of the base fee set forth in this chapter shall be charged for each month after January 31. Delinquency may also result in suspension and/or revocation of the right to conduct commercial or industrial activities in the city.
