§ 604.02 RESISTING POLICE OFFICERS; ASSISTING ESCAPES.
   No person shall resist, hinder or interfere with a police officer, or any other person duly authorized to perform a police duty, in the discharge of his or her duties as a member of the Police Department or in the performance of police duty, or offer or endeavor to do so. No person shall assist a person in the custody of a member of the Police Department to escape, or attempt to rescue any person from custody.
