§ 462.07 ISSUANCE AND DISPLAY OF LICENSE TAGS AND VEHICLE STICKERS.
   (A)   The City Collector shall deliver, to the holder of a license for a motor bicycle, motor tricycle, powercycle, bicycle with motor attached or motor scooter, a metal license tag which shall bear the name of the class to which the vehicle belongs and the year for which the license is issued. The licensee shall affix the metal tag in a conspicuous position, so that the tag can be easily seen, upon the rear end of the vehicle.
   (B)   The City Collector shall deliver to the holder of a license for an automobile, recreational vehicle, motor truck, motor ambulance or hearse, motor coach or motor bus, a vehicle sticker which shall bear the number and name or class to which such vehicle belongs and the year for which the license is issued.
   (C)   Only the current year vehicle sticker shall be affixed, in accordance with the instructions printed thereon and without the use of supplemental adhesives, at the lower right-hand corner on the inside of the glass portion of the windshield of the motor vehicle.
   (D)   Council shall annually change the predominant background colors of the license tags and vehicle stickers. The vehicle stickers shall be impervious to weather and incapable of being removed from the windshield without being destroyed.
