(A) Except as otherwise provided in this section, Council shall regulate, control and approve all matters pertaining to vehicular traffic in the city.
(B) The Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to establish and designate crosswalks, traffic lanes, passenger zones and loading zones.
(C) The Police Department is hereby authorized to make and enforce temporary regulations to cover emergencies or special conditions in connection with vehicular traffic.
(D) Automated traffic law enforcement systems are hereby authorized at any designated intersections located within the corporate limits of the city, including but not limited to:
(1) Eastbound on Twenty-Sixth at Ridgeland;
(2) Westbound on Ogden at Harlem;
(3) Eastbound on Cermak at Ridgeland; and
(4) Westbound on Cermak at Harlem.
