(A) In general.
(1) There is hereby established a Foreign Fire Insurance Board for the city.
(2) The Board shall consist of the Chief of the Fire Department and three officers elected from the membership of the Fire Department.
(3) The Chief, as an ex officio member of the Board, shall attend all meetings, make recommendations and provide advice, but shall not have a vote.
(4) The elected officers shall include the following:
(a) President;
(b) Secretary; and
(c) Treasurer.
(B) Firefighter employment status required. The President, Secretary and Treasurer shall be members of the Fire Department at the time of their election and during the entire time each may serve as an officer.
