§ 264.04 AUTHORITY; RULES AND REGULATIONS.
   (A)   The Board of Health shall have general supervision of the sanitary conditions and health of the residents of the city. It may make reasonable rules, regulations and orders and sanitary investigations as it may, from time to time, deem necessary for the preservation and improvement of the public health and for the suppression of disease. All ordinances of the city relating to nuisances, sanitation and public health shall be administered by the Board.
   (B)   A copy of any rule or regulation proposed by the Board, together with a notice of public hearing by the Board on the proposed rule or regulation, shall be transmitted to the City Clerk for transmittal to Council. If, after the public hearing, the Board approves the rule or regulation, the Secretary of the Board shall deliver a certified copy of any rule or regulation, as approved, to the Clerk, who shall cause the same to be published in the manner provided for the publication of city ordinances.
