§ 262.03 QUALIFICATIONS, OATH, BOND AND DISQUALIFICATION OF MEMBERS.
   (A)   The five members of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners shall possess the qualifications required under state law and the ordinances of the city applicable to all other city officers, shall take an oath or affirmation of office, give bond and be subject to removal from office in the same manner as other appointive officers of the city.
   (B)   No person holding a lucrative office under the United States, the state or the city shall be a member of the Board. The acceptance of any lucrative office by a member of the Board shall be treated as a resignation of his or her office as a member of the Board. Not more than two members of the Board shall belong to the same political party.
