§ 226.02 CITY ATTORNEY.
   (A)   Establishment. There is hereby established the office of the City Attorney. He or she shall be appointed by the Mayor, by and with the advice and consent of the Council.
   (B)   Duties. The City Attorney shall:
      (1)   Conduct the law business of the city, including all litigation and actions filed on behalf of or against the city;
      (2)   Draft ordinances and resolutions and render opinions as required by the Mayor and Council;
      (3)   Prepare deeds, leases, contracts and other documents required by the city, when requested to do so by the Mayor or Council; and
      (4)   Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Mayor or the Council.
