§ 206.01 BOUNDARIES OF WARDS.
   The boundaries of the wards of the city are as follows:
   (A)   First Ward. The First Ward is all that portion of the city bounded as follows:
      Beginning at the centerline of Harlem Avenue at its intersection with the centerline of Thirty-Ninth Street; thence north along the centerline of Harlem Avenue to the centerline of the Burlington Northern Railroad right-of-way; thence in a generally northeasterly direction along the centerline of such Burlington Northern Railroad right-of-way to the centerline of Clarence Avenue; thence south along the centerline of Clarence Avenue to the centerline of Ogden Avenue; thence in a generally southwesterly direction along the centerline of Ogden Avenue; to the centerline of Wesley Avenue; thence south along the centerline of Wesley Avenue to the centerline of Thirty-Sixth Street; thence east along the centerline of Thirty-Sixth Street to the centerline of Scoville Avenue; thence south along the centerline of Scoville Avenue to the centerline of Thirty-Ninth Street; thence west along the centerline of Thirty-Ninth Street to the place of beginning.
   (B)   Second Ward. The Second Ward is all that portion of the city bounded as follows:
      Beginning at the centerline of Scoville Avenue at its intersection with the centerline of Thirty-Ninth Street; thence north along the centerline of Scoville Avenue to the centerline of Thirty-Sixth Street; thence west along the centerline of Thirty-Sixth Street to the centerline of Wesley Avenue; thence north along the centerline of Wesley Avenue to the centerline of Ogden Avenue; thence in a generally northeasterly direction along the centerline of Ogden Avenue to the centerline of Clarence Avenue; thence north along the centerline of Clarence Avenue to the centerline of the Burlington Northern Railroad right-of-way; thence in a generally southwesterly direction along such centerline of the Burlington Northern Railroad right-of-way to the centerline of Oak Park Avenue; thence north along the centerline of Oak Park Avenue to the centerline of Stanley Avenue; thence northeasterly along the centerline of Stanley Avenue to the centerline of Euclid Avenue; thence north along the centerline of Euclid Avenue to the centerline of Thirtieth Street; thence east along the centerline of Thirtieth Street to the centerline of the Chicago Central Railroad right-of-way; thence in a generally southeasterly direction along the right-of-way of the Chicago Central Railroad right-of-way to the centerline of Ridgeland Avenue; thence north along the centerline of Ridgeland Avenue to the centerline of Twenty-Ninth Street; thence east along the centerline of Twenty-Ninth Street to the centerline of Lombard Avenue; thence south along the centerline of Lombard Avenue to the centerline of Thirty-Ninth Street; thence west along the centerline of Thirty-Ninth Street to the place of beginning.
   (C)   Third Ward. The Third Ward is all the portion of the city bounded as follows:
      Beginning at the centerline of Harlem Avenue at its intersection with the centerline of the Burlington Northern Railroad right-of-way; thence north along the centerline of Harlem Avenue to the centerline of Riverside Drive; thence in a generally northeasterly direction along the centerline of Riverside Drive to the centerline of Oak Park Avenue; thence north along the centerline of Oak Park Avenue to the centerline of Cermak Road; thence east along the centerline of Cermak Road to the centerline of Wesley Avenue; thence south along the centerline of Wesley Avenue to the centerline of Twenty-Sixth Street; thence east along the centerline of Twenty-Sixth Street to the centerline of East Avenue; thence south along the centerline of East Avenue to the centerline of Twenty-Eighth Street; thence west along the centerline of Twenty-Eighth Street to the centerline of Oak Park Avenue; thence south along the centerline of Oak Park Avenue to the centerline of the right-of-way of the Burlington Northern Railroad; thence in a generally southwesterly direction along the centerline of the right-of-way of the Burlington Northern Railroad to the place of beginning.
   (D)   Fourth Ward. The Fourth Ward is all that portion of the city bounded as follows:
      Beginning at the centerline of Stanley Avenue at its intersection with the centerline of Oak Park Avenue; thence north along the centerline of Oak Park Avenue to the centerline of Twenty-Eighth Street; thence east along the centerline of Twenty-Eighth Street to the centerline of East Avenue; thence north along the centerline of East Avenue to the centerline of Twenty-Sixth Street; thence west along the centerline of Twenty-Sixth Street to the centerline of Wesley Avenue; thence north along the centerline of Wesley Avenue to the centerline of Cermak Road; thence east along the centerline of Cermak Road to the centerline of East Avenue; thence south along the centerline of East Avenue to the centerline of Twenty-Third Street; thence east along the centerline of Twenty-Third Street to the centerline of Elmwood Avenue; thence south along the centerline of Elmwood Avenue to the centerline of Twenty-Fourth Street to the centerline of Lombard Avenue; thence south along the centerline of Lombard Avenue to the centerline of Thirtieth Street; thence west along the centerline of Thirtieth Street to the centerline of Ridgeland Avenue; thence south along the centerline of Ridgeland Avenue to the centerline of the right-of-way of the Chicago Central Railroad; thence in a generally northwesterly direction along the right-of-way of the Chicago Central Railroad to the centerline of East Avenue; thence south along the centerline of East Avenue to the centerline of Thirtieth Street; thence west along the centerline of Thirtieth Street to the centerline of Euclid Avenue; thence south along the centerline of Euclid Avenue to the centerline of Stanley Avenue; thence southwest along the centerline of Stanley Avenue to the place of beginning.
   (E)   Fifth Ward. The Fifth Ward is all that portion of the city bounded as follows:
      Beginning at the centerline of Twenty-Third Street at its intersection with the centerline of Scoville Avenue; thence north along the centerline of Scoville Avenue to the centerline of Cermak Road; thence east along the centerline of Cermak Road to the centerline of Ridgeland Avenue; thence north along the centerline of Ridgeland Avenue to the centerline of Roosevelt Road; thence east along the centerline of Roosevelt Road to the centerline of Lombard Avenue; thence south along the centerline of Lombard Avenue to the centerline of Twenty-Fourth Street; thence west along the centerline of Twenty-Fourth Street to the centerline of Elmwood Avenue; thence north along the centerline of Elmwood Avenue to the centerline of Twenty-Third Street; thence west along the centerline of Twenty-Third Street to the place of beginning.
   (F)   Sixth Ward. The Sixth Ward is all that portion of the city bounded as follows:
      Beginning at the centerline of Cermak Road at its intersection with the centerline of Oak Park Avenue; thence north along the centerline of Oak Park Avenue to the centerline of Fifteenth Street; thence east along the centerline of Fifteenth Street to the centerline of Ridgeland Avenue; thence south along the centerline of Ridgeland Avenue to the centerline of Cermak Road; thence west along the centerline of Cermak Road to the centerline of Scoville Avenue; thence south along the centerline of Scoville Avenue to the centerline of Twenty-Third Street; thence west along the centerline of Twenty-Third Street to the centerline of East Avenue; thence north along the centerline of East Avenue to the centerline of Cermak Road; thence west along the centerline of Cermak Road to the place of beginning.
   (G)   Seventh Ward. The Seventh Ward is all that portion of the city bounded as follows:
      Beginning at the centerline of Riverside Drive at its intersection with the centerline of Harlem Avenue; thence north along the centerline of Harlem Avenue to the centerline of Fifteenth Street; thence east along the centerline of Fifteenth Street to the centerline of Oak Park Avenue; thence south along the centerline of Oak Park Avenue to the centerline of Riverside Drive; thence west along the centerline of Riverside Drive to the place of beginning.
   (H)   Eighth Ward. The Eighth Ward is all that portion of the city bounded as follows:
      Beginning at the centerline of Harlem Avenue at its intersection with the centerline of Fifteenth Street; thence north along the centerline of Harlem Avenue to the centerline of Roosevelt Road; thence east along the centerline of Roosevelt Road to the centerline of Ridgeland Avenue; thence south along the centerline of Ridgeland Avenue to the centerline of Fifteenth Street; thence west along the centerline of Fifteenth Street to the place of beginning.
   (I)   Interpretation. Where municipal boundaries and geographical features are mentioned in this section, it is the intent of the City Council that the boundaries and features shall be as they existed as of April 1, 2000, and appear on the 2000 Pub. Law No. 94-171 county block census maps.
