§ 202.99 GENERAL PENALTY.
   (A)   Whoever violates any provision of this code or other ordinance of this city for which another penalty is not specifically provided, shall be fined not more than $2,000 for each and every violation thereof, and every day the violation continues shall constitute a separate offense.
   (B)   In all cases where the same offense is made punishable or is created by different clauses or sections of these Codified Ordinances or any other city ordinance, prosecution of the offense may proceed under Chapter 292 of these Codified Ordinances, or before any court having jurisdiction, as the Mayor or Council shall direct. However, not more than one recovery shall be had against the same person for the same offense, and the revocation of a license or permit shall not be considered a recovery or penalty so as to bar any other penalty being enforced.
