(A) Violation. In all prosecutions in the court for violations of ordinances punishable by fines of more than $200, plus costs, or by imprisonment or by both fine and imprisonment, trial shall be by jury unless waived by the defendant. If trial by jury is waived, trial shall be to the Court.
(B) Court costs. Court costs of $30 per citation, unless otherwise noted in applicable laws of the state or ordinances of the town, to be assessed against those persons determined by the Municipal Court to be in violation of the ordinances, this code or other resolutions, rules and regulations of the town. Such court costs shall be in addition to assessments and other costs required by the state to be collected as court costs.
(C) Bond and fine schedule.
(1) The amount of the appearance bond and fine for municipal offenses shall be as shown on the bond and fine schedule set forth in this section.
(2) The bond and/or fine for such offenses, if committed at a location designated as a work, construction or school zone, shall be doubled up to $500. Such bond or fine amount so listed does not include court costs or other assessments otherwise imposed by the laws or regulations of the state or the town.
(3) Any crime or offense not listed in division (C)(4) below shall be subject to bond and/or fine in the amount provided for such offense under the laws of the state.
(4) The bond and fine schedule of the municipal court of the town is as set forth below:
