The Board of Trustees may designate various ones of its members or a committee of its members to have supervision of various personnel and activities of the town (for example, those working on the streets, those working in the water system and the like), and may give each such Trustee or committee designated an appropriate title. Each such Trustee or committee so designated shall be subordinate to the Board.
