§ 52.03 WATER TAP FEES; METER DEPOSIT.
   (A)   Tap fees. There is hereby established a water tap fee, to be paid to the Authority by customers residing within the town limits to access the town's water system in the sum of $900, and for customers residing outside the town limits, in the sum of $900.
   (B)   Road crossing fee. There is hereby established a fee of $1,000, to be paid to the Authority for crossing a road with water, sewer or other underground utility lines, to be paid by the customer or customers requesting the crossing, which must be paid prior to commencement of the work. The customer or customers shall also be responsible for complying with any requirements and any fees for crossing any county road or state highway.
   (C)   Meter deposit. A water meter deposit shall be due to the Authority prior to receiving any service. Said deposit shall be retained by the Authority and bear no interest. A meter deposit, less any sum due to the Authority from the customer, shall be returned to the customer when such customer no
longer receives any services from the Authority. The water meter deposit shall be based on meter size and shall be as follows:
      (1)   One hundred twenty-five dollars for Residential ¾ inch meter;
      (2)   Two hundred dollars for Commercial Class 1 ¾ inch meter;
      (3)   Three hundred dollars for Commercial Class 2 ¾ inch meter;
      (4)   Four hundred dollars for Commercial Class 3 one inch meter;
      (5)   One thousand two hundred dollars for Commercial Class 4 two inch meter;
      (6)   One thousand eight hundred dollars for Commercial Class 5 three inch meter; and
      (7)   Two thousand four hundred dollars for Commercial Class 6 four inch meter.
