(A) The town’s Board of Trustees accepted beneficial interest in the Public Works Authority, a public trust, on 8-29-1977. A copy of the trust indenture and resolution, and any amendments thereto, are on file with the town’s Clerk-Treasurer.

(B) The town hereby consents and agrees to the lease of the town water, sanitary sewerage and gas systems and facilities and all future additions thereto to the town’s Public Works Authority as authorized by statute, to be effective at the time and upon the terms and conditions specified in a certain lease prepared under the direction of the town’s Board of Trustees and filed in the office of the town’s Clerk-Treasurer on 8-29-1977. The Mayor of the town hereby is authorized and directed, on behalf of the town, to execute and deliver the lease of the town’s Public Works Authority.
