§ 34.02 CITY OFFICES AND EMPLOYEES.

   (A)   The Mayor shall appoint the following.

      (1)   A City Attorney.

      (2)   A Chief of the Fire Department.

      (3)   A Chief of the Police Department.   

      (4)   Sanitation Department Superintendent.

      (5)   Sewage Department Superintendent.

      (6)   Street Department Superintendent.

      (7)   Water Works Department Super- intendent.

      (8)   Any other officers.

   (B)   The officers appointed by the Mayor pursuant to this section shall exercise and perform the duties as prescribed by law that pertain to the office.
