(A) The city has the legal authority to develop and enforce specific limits on prohibited substances such that a pollutant contributed by an industrial user that has caused or is likely to cause interference or pass through at the receiving POTW and the recurrence of the contributed pollutant’s effect on the POTW are limited.
(B) No person shall discharge wastewater containing in excess of the following daily maximum discharge limits:

(C) The above limits apply at the point where the wastewater is discharged to the POTW. All concentrations for metallic substances are for "total" metal unless indicated otherwise.

Under the direction of the Workforce Manager, BMPs may be required as part of the local limits under this section and may include, but are not limited to, the following: treatment requirements; operating procedures and practices to control site runoff, spillage or leaks, sludge or waste disposal; or drainage from raw materials storage.
