2-1-6: REMOVAL OF MEMBERS:
A member shall not be subject to removal, except for cause, upon written charges, and after an opportunity to be heard, within thirty (30) days, in his own defense, before a regular meeting of the village board of trustees. A majority vote of the corporate authorities shall be required to remove any such member from office. (2016 Code)
