11-1-2: DEFINITIONS:
For the purposes of this title, the following words and terms shall be defined as follows:
SUBDIVISION: A. Any change, rearrangement or resubdivision in the boundary or divisional lines of any parcel or parcels of real estate or of any public thoroughfares; or
   B.   The platting of a parcel or tract of land into a single numbered lot without alteration of its boundaries; or
   C.   A planned development or planned unit development as now or hereafter defined in this title, the village zoning ordinance, or the zoning ordinance of Cook County, as the case may be; or
   D.   A development as now or hereafter defined in this title.
SUBDIVISION, MINOR: A subdivision of land into three (3) or fewer lots; provided, that such subdivision does not involve any street or utility extensions, or require any other public improvements, and does not require any exception or departure from the regulations of this title.
