All elected officials, appointed officers, commissioners, committee members and employees required to file economic disclosure statements with the county clerk pursuant to article 4A of the Illinois governmental ethics act 1 , shall be in violation of this code of ethics if they fail to comply with and fulfill the requirements set forth in the state act.
