A. Declaration Of Emergency: The village president shall declare the existence of a water emergency with respect to the unregulated use of public water within the village by means of a written declaration. (1976 Code § 13.36.010)
B. Notice Of Declaration: Upon issuing the declaration authorized in this section, the president shall notify the news media situated within the general area of the village and shall cause three (3) copies of the declaration declaring the existence of the water emergency to be posted at the following places within the village: the village hall, the police station, and the post office. (1976 Code § 13.36.030)
C. Rationing Water: After the declaration of a water emergency, the president may order that water be rationed within the village and applicable during such hours of the day or night that he deems necessary in the interest of public safety and welfare. (1976 Code § 13.36.020)
