A. State Statutes Adopted: Chapter 1 of the Illinois vehicle code 1 , as amended, is hereby adopted by reference as part of this title.
B. Amendment: Chapter 1 of the Illinois vehicle code, as adopted in subsection A of this section, is hereby amended by amending the definition of the term "sidewalk" to read as follows:
SIDEWALK: That portion of a street between the curb lines, or the lateral lines of a roadway, and the adjacent property lines, or that paved area on property on which the village has a public access easement, that is intended for use of pedestrians, vehicles moved exclusively by human power and motorized wheelchairs.
