6-2-6: DUTIES OF DEPARTMENT MEMBERS:

It shall be the function of the fire department and the duty of the members thereof to prevent and extinguish accidental or destructive fires, provide emergency medical services, and respond to hazardous materials incidents occurring in the village; to enforce all ordinances relating to fire hazards; and to perform such other duties as directed by the village administrator. (2016 Code)
