6-2-5: OBEDIENCE TO ORDERS:
The chief and, in his absence, such officer of higher rank as may be designated by him, shall have charge of the activities of the department. All members of the department shall obey the orders and directions of the fire chief and other superiors in the department. (2016 Code)
