6-1-12: RULES AND REGULATIONS:
The chief of police may make or prescribe such rules and regulations and policies and procedures for the conduct and guidance of the members of the police department as he shall deem advisable, and such rules shall be binding on members of the department. The respective rank and grade of the members of the police department may be prescribed by regulation of the chief of police. (2016 Code)
