6-1-4: RANK OF OFFICERS:
The chief of police shall be the head of the department and shall have command and supervision over all officers and members thereof. Following him in rank shall be the deputy chief, commanders, sergeants, and patrol officers, respectively, in order of seniority in each group. (2016 Code)
