A. License Required: It is unlawful for any person, either by himself or through an agent, or any person acting as an agent, employee, bartender, clerk, or servant of another, to sell, dispense, or offer for sale at retail or give away any alcoholic beverage or engage in any sale of alcoholic beverage within the village without first having obtained a license to do so as provided in this chapter or during any period that the license has been suspended or revoked. B. Compliance Required:
1. It shall be unlawful for any person to sell or offer for sale or engage in any sale of any alcoholic beverage in violation of the terms and conditions of any license issued pursuant to this chapter.
2. It shall be unlawful for any person holding a business license within the village to knowingly allow any customer to consume alcoholic beverages on the property where the business license has been issued unless the premises has been licensed for the sale or consumption of alcoholic beverages.
3. Each sale on a given date shall be deemed a separate violation. (Ord. 13-22, 6-4-2013)
